Healthy Bodies Healthy Brains program offers greater physical activity in both core subject and physical education classes to 1,500 students from Crawford County. |
Outcomes
- Used HOPSports music and video projection in PE classes to increase student interest and physical activity.

Teachers used 10-minute "energizers," bursts of physical activity, during core academic subjects.

Reduced total student BMI by 0.9 percent over 16-month period.
Lives Affected
1,000 students and 100+ school staff benefited from increased physical activity using the new PE equipment. (Goal was 1,500.)
