Fund six nursing scholarships for graduates who wish to practice in the underserved areas of the Delta region of Arkansas. |
Outcomes
- Awarded 10 $1,000 awards to nursing students.

Awarded two students $5,000 each, toward enrollment in accelerated program in McGehee- Dermott.

Increased the immediate earnings potential of students graduating and being employed.

Helped recruit nursing students/graduates to medically underserved areas of Arkansas.

Cost Effectiveness
This program provides incentives to nursing students to complete their RN degrees on an accelerated basis and thus become employed in medically underserved communities in Arkansas.
