Outcomes
- Created partnership between school, family and overweight children, with evening meeting presentations of meal planning, nutrition and dieting strategies, and physical activities.
Lives Affected
30 individuals (children and parents).
Cost Effectiveness
The findings of the ICAN project pilot study indicate that a school district wishing to implement a program of this type could do so at a very minimal cost.
