Project Description: |
|
2005 Northeast Arkansas Health Education Conference. |
Outcomes
- Provided a high-quality training experience for agency staff and other similar agencies while reducing the prohibitive travel costs and registration fees that accompany conferences in expensive urban settings. Also, brought in participants from other parts of the state who can bring other perspectives.
Lives Affected
600 persons participated in the conference.
Cost Effectiveness
The ability to subsidize, and thus keep low, the registration fees proved effective in training professionals that otherwise would not attend because of price considerations.
